Bodegas y Viñedos La Mejorada is located 5 km from the town of Olmedo, in the province of Valladolid.
It was in the 15th century when a small community of Hieronymite monks built a monastery there. Later, it was the Accountant of Fernando I, Velasco Hernández Becerra, who built the 14th century Mudejar Chapel, which has been preserved in its entirety and has been a national monument since 1931.
At the end of 2007, La Mejorada became the personal project of Rafael Moneo, our most internationally renowned architect. Thanks to the union of history, architecture and viticulture, this estate has an incomparable charm.
